I’m DAVE Stewart

I’m an artist, designer, craftsman, and creator.

My professional art career began in the agency world, working as a graphic designer, art director, and creative director. But I've also studied under artistic masters and craftsmen who mentored me in manual tools and fabrications. For the past 12 years, I’ve been able to bring those worlds together, designing and building sculptures, exhibits, custom fabrications, awards, and other one-of-a-kind pieces.

Sometimes that happens on a computer, sometimes in a fabrication shop—and usually it’s a little of both. I enjoy taking an idea from a sketch or conversation and working through the creative and technical problems until it becomes something real.

This portfolio is a collection of that work—projects I’ve created with some very talented people, along with personal work that’s simply mine.
